Data Streaming Service | Streams Tab
The Streams tab is used to create, manage, and update datastreams. Supported Cloud end points include AWS Kinesis and Azure Event Hubs. The following information is provided on this tab for each stream that you create:
- Status:
- Red (the datastream has stopped)
- Green (the datastream is active)
- Grey (the datastream is created but not started)
- ID - Ayla-assigned ID to identify the datastream.
- OEM - the OEM associated with the datastream.
- Name - the user-assigned name of the datastream
- Description - key details to describe the datastream, e.g. the product type, i.e. dryers or boilers.
- Destination - the identification necessary to deliver the data to the expected destination; e.g. for AWS Kinesis, this is the Kinesis Stream ARN, which uniquely identifies an AWS resource across all of AWS.
- Transport: the type of event bus used as the streaming service (e.g. Amazon Kinesis, Microsoft Azure Event Hubs, and Google Pub/Sub)
- Stream Type: the attribute of the datastream to represent the specific type of data (connection, datapoint, location, or registration).

Enable Stream icon. Click this icon to restart an existing datastream. |

Disable Stream icon. Click this icon to stop an active stream. This icon displays when you create a stream in case you choose to pause or stop the stream. |

Trash Can icon. Click this icon to delete the stream entirely. |
To create, edit, and delete datastreams, you must be assigned an OEM::Admin role. Click here to review the roles in the Ayla Customer Dashboard. Click the following action you wish to accomplish:

When you delete an OEM user from the dashboard, all configurations for this user are deleted, including datastreams associated with the user. |
